Development
Wingecarribee Shire Council own the sites of Bong Bong Common and Suttor Road Reserve. The Committee of the Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens Incorporated is in discussion with the Council regarding the leasing of the sites and establishment of the Gardens.
Development cannot commence on the sites until Council approval is received. Initial development, comprising landscape planning, ground works, water retention and irrigation, and commencement of the proposed Botanic Gardens Mult-function Centre will be part of stage one and take approx 2 years.
